The Oxford Republican Town Committee (ORTC) is actively engaged in local, state, and national elections. We support Republican elected officials in Oxford and stay informed on issues that affect our town and the values of the Republican Party.
The committee meets at 7:00 p.m. on the fourth Wednesday of each month at Oxford Town Hall. These meetings are open to all registered Republicans in town. Attendees are encouraged to participate in discussions on local politics, town issues, and ways to get involved.
The ORTC plays an active role in shaping Oxford’s local government by endorsing Republican candidates for office and holding caucuses to nominate individuals for open seats on elected town boards. All registered Republicans in Oxford are invited to attend and vote in these caucuses.
Every two years, we hold a caucus to elect 20 full committee members for a two-year term. The elected members then appoint 15 alternates to also serve two-year terms.
We also organize periodic fundraisers to support Republican campaigns, promote civic engagement, and fund other party-related activities. The ORTC provides a valuable opportunity for Republicans interested in public service or political involvement to make a difference in our community.
